The GREAT Convergence—Sustainable and SMART Building Technologies

While sustainability discussions are not new to the ICT industry, smart building technologies continue to evolve at a rapid pace. Sustainable and smart building technologies are converging, much like the operational technology and information technology networks within buildings. Reducing carbon, effectively employing renewable energy sources, and documenting the end results require a complex network infrastructure, including many levels of integration throughout the network. The sustainability movement represents an exciting time for ICT designers and integrators. The future is boundless!
